It is with great sadness that we morn the loss of Soke Dennis N. Fitch. Soke Fitch passed away today after a courageous fight with Covid-19. Soke Fitch received his black belt in 1968 and began teaching Shaolin Chuan Fa Tai Chi Gung Fu here in Pensacola. Over the next 50 years, he mentored four generations of instructors, martial arts competitors and military personnel. Soke Fitch was inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2009 and achieved the rank of 10th Dan in Chuan Fa. We will all miss his warm smile, mischievous laugh and his unmatched devotion to his family, friends and community. Ohana!
